We're waiting on around ~5 people to confirm (if you were expecting an invite and didn't get one let me know, maybe I sent some into the ether). Tomorrow would be a decent ti me to create the teams though. Would people rather I post them here first or find out when I start enterting teams to roster?

My big worry is that once I start entering people, it might not let people take invites anymore? Maybe? I don't know how this works.

Cool all the teams are identified now. I have rolled up all the random teams.

Gonna give the couple stragglers litttttle longer to sign up and then I think I will start adding players to your team this evening, so you can be surprised for your roster. I hear that the ESPN fantasy roster isn't COMPLETE and if for some reason I can't find your player, I will randomly pick one from this list of players who did not end up sorted on to any teams:

Derrickson Marcus
Green Danny
Cousins DeMarcus
Walker IV Lonnie
Holiday Justin
Grant Jerami

So like for some of you it might actually be a lucky step up if you have a non-ESPN player on your team.

Uhhhh ...Lol one team managed to get 1. Two hall of famers, 2) Two top 5 fantasy bigs and a couple other solid fantasy contributors. As opposed to every other team that was lucky to get two rotation players. Maybe we'll need a second place prize,

Well we don't know what the categories are (I'll roll them right before entering teams since apparently you can't change after the draft) so maybe somehow this will work against them???

Ok everyone but Dejan is in, I think you can claim your team still and since there's only one left you'll know which one it is.

I rolled 17 categories, put the list of categories in at random.org, and took the top 17.

Here are the categories we are going to use:

Rosters are LIVE. It really isn't fair for me to add people to my roster right away since I know all who are available so I will not add anyone until 2:00 PM Arizona time tomorrow.

E: by the way I needed WAY MORE than five replacements. More like roughly 40! So after the 5 were exhausted, I rolled the dice for unselected teams and pulled the top 6 from them, and then rolled a d6 for replacements.

It actually turned out that it was advantageous to draft someone that ESPN never heard of because in all but a few rare occurences those players ended up being pretty decent. The worst is having an obscure player that ESPN had heard of and some people were very unlucky in this regards and had 2-3 of those.

Randomness is cruel. But both the other Antetokounmpo brothers were drafted, although Thanis was not in ESPN's database, so that ended up becoming Troy Brown.

You can pick up someone the normal way (via add player on your roster page), although I wish I had the time to manage new players all season because that sounds like it would be pretty nuts.

You can change your lineup as often as you want, you can just drop/add one player per week.

After the initial waiver period ends you don't have to wait to grab people you can just add them, unless I really messed things up in the setup.

I think it's fine to put in more than one, if I remember correctly, once you've made your max moves the other waiver claims auto fail, and the failed ones will just move down to the next person in the claim list automatically. You might have to keep an eye on it though because in the past sometimes ESPN doesn't bother to tell you what happens everything just silently fails.

That's a really good idea. I can post the drafted rosters here when I get home.

Maybe we could then vote on the winner? Or, we'll have person who won in the traditional "ESPN Says you won" sense, then VOTE on the person who actually played the best?

E: If you're looking for a more mathmatical way to do this, I'm completely open although ESPN's tools for rating rosters are kind of bad.
