i mean if he just doesn't like the book and the characters that's fine (can't agree about sejic's art though i tend to like it, although he does have the dillon/noto problem of the faces always being similar enough to where you can instantly tell sejic is drawing it). the way the previous posts were worded made it sound like that wasn't what they meant. like i said though i have no idea who the guy is or what he actually said about it

yeah actually i will agree that the pitch of sunstone tends to be that it's a bdsm comic but tbh once you get into it it's more like a...i dunno, like a slice of life book about various people and their (mostly love) lives that features bdsm play. as in, it's quite often just a lot of people talking, and not actually a lot of loving. of course, it doesn't help that he often advertises it on social media via bdsm artwork of those characters so people, like myself even, went into it with different expectations
