I went through a period of time where I was really hungry, like had no food. I was starving, I think I lost about 20 pounds in one month. Being hungry is a really strange feeling, you know exactly what it is and you know exactly what to do about it. But... maybe you don't go steal a bunch of poo poo to feed yourself because you aren't quite that desperate yet. I got lucky, I got some help, so i didn't have to go steal to keep myself alive. Hunger is a burning motherfucker, it eats your soul and conscious because you know you are dying. gently caress that, give to the Goon Food Fund. I'm not starving anymore and I can give back so I am. I also work at a homeless shelter. I'm doing my part to give back. Please help!!!!!!!!

I'm not really sure what you are asking for in the scope of this thread because we can't solve all of that for you. Do you need a few bucks for food or to help get medications? Contact the email and let Plinkey know. I really do sympathize with you and I understand how much this sucks, but the fund isn't set up for -- nor is it capable of handling this sort of situation. Also, while we often overlook people posting their gofundme's, I think it would be best if you contact a mod and ask permission before dropping a link to a $10K fundraiser like that. It would be one thing if you needed $200 for emergency vet bills, this is just unfortunately outside the scope of the fund and this thread. Hello everyone! Please read!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plinkey is dealing with some personal poo poo and he won't be around or available for at least a week. The fund is drained for the month, however, and we won't see new deposits until at least a few days after the 1st of the month. What does this mean? -Plinkey is fine! He's just got some poo poo to deal with. So have some patience. Since this is a downtime in between financials it shouldn't affect much, but just know that if you send an email within the next week you may not get an answer. Please don't bombard him with requests right now, wait until he gets back and says he's ready to do his thing. Thanks!!!!! I'm really sorry for any inconvenience and I know a lot of people rely on this but Plinkey needs some consideration for his own needs and now is really the time to just let him catch his breath. Looks like he may be absent longer than I thought. He's doing well but... this is going to kind of screw up the goon fund payouts for the month. It could be near the end of May or the first part of June before he is back. Ugh. Everyone should look for alternate funding right now until he gets back.
