I don't have a parasocial relationship with Robert Evans. I don't know him and never met him. He's not my friend. I don't get a say in how he makes his money or what he does with his time. I listen to his podcast, and from that podcast I've found him to be insightful and reasonable. If I thought he was doing problematic poo poo I'd push back or stop listening or find something better to do with my time. By contrast, you seem to have a weird ax to grind vis a vis how Robert Evans makes his money, and like calling people that point out that you have a weird ax to grind as being churlish fanboys who dote on his every word. Again, if you don't like his podcast, why are you posting about it

It looks like he's out for good, he was only able to wrench his way back in the first time by being majority shareholder and that's no longer the case. It's unlikely he'll do jail time, civil lawsuits can take years, and when he dies he'll die a millionaire, but at the very least he's finally lost control of the media empire he's spent his entire life building. Cold comfort.
