That might actually be true. She's acting like this because she thinks it's good for her politically.

She was brought up early to put the screws to any female witness because it looks even worse if you have men berating women.

Schiff smothered that in the crib and she has massively miscalculated regardless.

As much as I think everyone would want him gone, Nunes isn't going anywhere. See only Democrats have shame, ethics and morals. A perfect example is Katie Hill was effectively revenge porn/slut shamed out of her seat and Steve King is still a member on Congress.

Honestly why every Democratic member of the House doesn't beat them over the head with that on a daily basis is beyond me.

Steve king was stripped of all of his committee positions and is going to get routed next year as a result.

Obviously Nunes would never resign because he's a gutless worm but I'd be satisfied if Trump's right hand man was no longer on the committee investigating Trump.

Although King was on committees relevant to his constituency. Nunes is only on intelligence for some reason.

Just keeping an eye on Romney and Collins, neither one tweeted anything out last night after the impeachment vote.

Is there any chance they’ll be useful for the Democrats in the senate? Even if they don’t vote to impeach, maybe they’ll break with McConnell and Graham on rules and procedural stuff...? Maybe?

You have to look at as a balance between three things

1. Does the person need Trump to win a reelection?
2. Does the person need the GOP to stay influential/wealthy?
3. Random dumb west wing bullshit?

Collins - is hosed in her next election. She has walked a razors edge up to this point but her time has come. If she votes one way she fucks over the chuds, if she votes another her november wave gets bigger. Once she's gone, she's gone. Collins has no friends. She's not even guaranteed a news desk spot since the useless centrist woman position is currently being filled by claire mccaskill. She also always disappoints.

Romney - will never lose an election in Utah, and going against Trump might help him. He absolutely does not need the GOP to stay influential/wealthy. I don't think Romney's last position is senator though tbh. He's reportedly always wanted to be secretary of state, and after Trump the entire organization is going to need to be restaffed and organized. I'm just poo poo balling here.

The REAL interesting one is Tillis. He's staring down a wave in a legit purple state and his phone will never ring again once he's gone (little light in the step for the GOP). His main primary threat just withdrew. He still has only a 33% approval rating in NC.

I dunno, I think things will get frisky. There will be a lot of fun loving articles coming out in the next few weeks from the beltway reporters.
