I would love to oversee a robot meant for torching forest floors. The stakes are incredibly high, I imagine I'd probably do something wrong and have to trek out near a fire to unstick a robot dog that has a gas tank on it.

I had some lady in a big SUV behind me on the highway the other day who was clearly holding her phone in one hand while driving at 75mph. It was rush hour and traffic came to a pretty quick stop at one point and I look up to see her looking at her phone, not seeing that I had stopped until way too late, slamming on the brakes and having to swerve a bit into the shoulder, then immediately picking up her loving phone again as soon as traffic resumed. Obviously isn't going to learn her lesson until she gets into an accident, it's infuriating. I got out of the lane because I was afraid she would rear end me.

Bajaha posted:The humidity goes down the drain. A ventless would typically be a heat pump unit. Moist air from the dryer drum passes over a cold evaporator coil which causes the moisture to condense and then drain out of the machine. The cool drier air is then heated back up by the condenser coil and this goes on until your clothes are dry. I spent a month in Spain thinking the dryer was broken but nope, it was just a really, really slow machine that was barely faster than air-drying.

Yeah, when I lived in the .cz, we used one of these at an airbnb we stayed at while apartment hunting. Once we found a place and got a washer, we just got a clothes drying rack because it takes the same amount of time. If the weather's too humid, just move the rack next to the water heater or a radiator if you're running the heat. Now I'm back in the States I have an expensive washer and a cheap dryer, it's way better than the euro experience lol

I'm not sure a person manually holding a gas canister next to a fire has ever been less relevant to the ultimate schadenfreudey outcome in any of these videos

There could have been a naked lady juggling on a monowheel in the background and the result would have been the same.

The other option is suspension 'setup', but that's me being all judgy based upon the bling and other crap I can see on the bike. I very nearly got caught in this guy yesterday. Was driving towards it maybe two miles to the east when it crossed the interstate. Had to dodge road debris and a knocked over semi but made it home ok. https://x.com/omg_interesting/status/1784137794031419738 I was too focused on driving to get any video of the big guy myself, but there were a few others that touched down north of the road that I caught. https://i.imgur.com/vSG7b4U.mp4 https://i.imgur.com/Xk0zEAl.mp4
