Hey, Drew Mac. Before the last one was closed, you said that you didn't see my post and I was going to apologize for inadvertently being a giant rear end in a top hat but the thread closed and I felt weird PMing you about it, so hi! I'm sorry! I was a jerk!

Me too. I'm on a dose that most doctors find, quote, troubling. But even combined with the other meds I'm on, which are also supposed to make you feel faint, I don't experience that side-effect at all. Even when drinking.

I still have nightmares all night every night, but in the bad old days I was only getting a couple of hours of sleep (nonconsecutive) spread out over about ten hours in bed, and now I can actually get up to like six or seven nonconsecutive hours and can, often, fall asleep after I wake up from the nightmares.

poo poo was life-changing and cut my alcohol use from straight-up abusing the stuff to fall asleep down to a more normal level.

I've been on the wait list to see an adult autism specialist for over a year and I really want that appointment to go through soon because since 1993, people have been accusing me online of taking positions I don't believe and arguing them and I can't even begin to wonder why anybody would ever do that and it's clear they're projecting and that's thing one on a list of a million things I can't understand about ways people behave.

I was born three months premature and was deaf through my early childhood and god drat do I wish I had those development times back because poo poo geta super confusing.

I really don't get the vitriol about Rise of Skywalker.

Except for doing Rose dirty and dropping Johnson's whole thing of "you don't have to be born important to become so" in favor of "the whole galaxy is three families and like four small towns."

I bought myself Bloodstained on Steam for Christmas and there's this horrible bug where any time Miriam (and only Miriam) has dialog of any kind or does combat cries, it sounds like radio static and stutters the game. It's game-ruining, was a day 1 bug, and hasn't been fixed.

Super disappointing.

A a former giant fan of RedLetterMedia, I have come to the conclusion that they've convinced an entire generation of angry men that not liking things and being really angry about it is a meaningful replacement for having a personality and we're all worse off for it.

Pay attention to how often people bring up how they hate a Star War when loving nobody else was talking about it.

Yes, and that's a big part of how I arrived at this conclusion, because I liked a thing everybody told me not to because women suddenly mattered and it infuriated people. That's more of an answer than your bad-faith-actin' rear end deserved. I hope you become happy at some point.

Now leave me alone, please.

The X-Files was a success on Friday nights to the point that they moved it to an actual night people watched TV in Sunday where it really broke out. They they promptly forgot they did the second part and kept trying to put other genre shows on Friday night and wondering why they all failed. Firefly, Dollhouse, Sarah Connor Chronicles... I'll probably adjust, right? I mean, I used the other laptop for literally over ten years, there's probably going to be something of an adjustment period, or at least I'd like to think so. :shobon:

If you knew what you wanted, you’d do it. This might even be part of the issue: scouring your brain for whatever the solution might be. But if you knew, you’d already be doing it. That kind of scouring is its own blockage.

Let yourself not know what to do.
