my friends and I used to crack up at this commercial at like 4am we'd have been up all night watching adult swim or whatever and reach that time in the early morning when there's for real nothing on and this would be on, like, Noggin, or that channel that only seemed to exist for a couple hours at a time and just sold hundreds and hundreds of knives good times |

another good commercial from that time was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psZRxl1CDw8 this $20 dvd that explains how to avoid buying counterfeit mini coopers, which 1) is not a real problem that needed solving 2) they accidentally explain in the commercial in its entirety, and it takes a couple of seconds (they are just regular cars that look nothing like mini coopers but have white stripes painted on the hood) 3) they try to sell by showing fake mini coopers crashing into giant stacks of hay and exploding if the fake mini cooper scammers exist, then they almost definitely managed to scam exactly one person: a vengeful dvd salesman who doesn't understand shapes, somehow had the budget of a b movie to spare on his quest for revenge, and was a big fan of the 2003 remake of the italian job |

New sleek bullet trains, purchased in backroom deals conducted in quick, urgent whispers. Even trains out of myth and legend, made real and standing in front of me like proud, coal-burning gods. The result of a lifetime of collection, dedication to the trains. "Perhaps there is such a thing as too many trains." I mutter as I put on my pinstriped conductor's hat. "No matter. All abooooard!" I cackle as I step into the engine room and stoke the fire. The great beast lurches to life and I feel like Hannibal must have when he rode his elephants into battle. This is the way the world ends. Putty posted:Realtalk give me an idea and music and I'll do the rest it's a desert but everything has cool sunglasses and kinda dances or bobs its head. lizards, cactii, tumbleweeds all have cool sunglasses and jam along as fake banjos provide accompaniment to a childlike description of the basic job duties of a cowboy. ride like a cowboy it's a jungle but everything has cool sunglasses and get this, hats. backwards, sideways, various jaunty angled hats. jaguars, pythons, monkeys swing through the canopy to a tribal kinda beat with fake bongos and we learn that the rainforest is necessary to provide clean air. swing like a monkey it's the ocean but everything has uhhhhh ummmm uhhh sports jerseys. and cool sunglasses. schools of fishies do basketball moves on each other, an octopus has a referee whistle that's a big part of the song, it's kinda marchy or like a cheer. a jellyfish has a big "we're #1" foam hand and we come away from the experience enlightened about good sportsmanship, or maybe marine biology. swim like a fishie? your generous offer of collaboration means the world to me, and i will keep it in my heart next time i fire up the ol' music machine. i'm sure some of our talented lyricists would be willing to help as well... perhaps even to sing?
