They do love a good bit of murder tbf. If theres one thing that I've really grown accustom to over the past twenty years, its the never ending onslaught of liberals who crave more and more murder abroad but disguise it under the notion that they're making the world a better place (even while they demonstrably have not).

That means if I read anyone not using humour/satire as a genuine reason to post, instead I read arrogance or hate, due to having no loving clue about the world, combined with a small and ineffective penis, I can quickly post an appropriate meme.

I've already said it once.

Lowtax is correct.

gently caress you hard left failures and your arrogant hate of anyone who is either successful or questioning. It's not acceptable to just be a sycophantic tosspot.

I briefly thought that this is Nick Mullen, but Cum Town is way funnier and more successful than this guy.

The only reactions I've ever seen in person to Meghan Markle are either indifference or positive. The only people that actively loathe her are the press. And its weird.

Its proper weird. He writes these grandiose troll posts, but no one cares. Even the Discord didn't even notice him.

Hes like the opposite of Bunk from The Wire. Hes not a "humble mother fucker with a big rear end dick". Hes a boastful motherfucker with a small dick that don't work.

I feel like poo poo talking small not work dick gang is slightly unfair given that half the thread is taking drugs to induce that and the other half are destined for dick destruction by semi-accident, and I like all our posters.
Our posters are brilliant, and if the correct material conditions were in place, all of us would have beautiful huge dicks that work perfectly.

But BobbyThompson will and always will be stuck with a small, broken dick that don't work properly.

normally i don't bring twitter drama to this thread but this guy really is an absolute danger and his favourite tactic is weaponizing accusations of racism (in coordination with the gnasher mafia) to silence people on the left. people need to be a lot tougher and tell guys like him to gently caress off when they try this stuff because as the above shows, he's nothing more than a paid infiltrator.
I have no idea why people give Oz the time of day. First time I encountered him on Twitter I knew how much of a disingenuous oval office he was within about a minute of looking through his timeline.

Has anyone seen 1917? Is it awful? I always reckoned there aren't enough modern large scale films about British experience of the world wars (no Spielberg), but Sam Mendez is pretty poo poo. Skyfall was a complete mess and had some horrible stuff in it, e.g. steamy sex scene where Bond figures out that the woman he's met in a casino is an ex-child prostitute and then surprises her by getting naked and walking into her shower without any consent from her...... yeah.

But 1917 has good reviews and the way they've approached the filming of it seems interesting.
Saw it today. Its brilliant. Its beautiful. Theres no sex in it.

Its so un-problematic that it depicts a multi-ethnic British army, it spends so little time with commanding officers that the big name actors are barely even in the movie and it doesn't go full "yay England!" at any point.

I really do like this thread, but no one so far has reached the heights of just wild and enthralling interpretations as the Star Wars CineD threads. I'm not even that interested in Star Wars as a franchise but that thread makes me want to watch all of the movies.

The jedi as the ultimate liberals is a reading I like given that I think the prequels are far more lovely about their treatment of droids than the originals.
This is quite close to a reading common in the CineD threads, only they go further and claim that the Republic/New Republic/Resistance are all libs too. One detail I did find funny is someone saying they are clearly the liberals because no one likes them and they keep getting overthrown by fash.

OwlFancier posted:

I mean I haven't really been exposed to anything past return of the jedi so I can't comment but I would imagine the reading could continue to suggest that that form of society is inherently liberal and the galaxy is trapped in an endless cycle of the lovely government on coruscant vaccilating between fash and lib.
Thats another part of the reading lol. You know how people keep quoting "Its like poetry. It rhymes" to mock George Lucas? (In fairness, it is a sentence that invites ridicule) Thats fundamentally what the reading moves towards.

I love that kind of poo poo. I was never a Star Wars kid and I've only watched a handful of the movies, but even I have lost entire evenings just skimming those threads. Its way more fun than the culturally default position of "the Star Wars prequels are unforgivably bad".

Its just strange that given the total lack of competence or intelligence across the board in the highest levels of British politics that the people that always get singled out for criticism are either women, BAME or both.

Just really unusual that. Not sure why that might be.

Freedom.

Smells like a blue passport fresh off a Chinese factory floor. Like a roast dinner, without the tyranny of seasoning. Like our beloved Maggie Thatcher's knickers in the presence of Sir James Saville.

Tomorrow, the sun shines bright over Britain.

Not literally obviously, it'll probably piss down like it does every other loving day.
