i look forward to all of the non gimmick tech debuting this year that will totally catch on, like all of the good ideas from previous years. ideas such as:
  • 3d tv
  • curved tvs
  • foldable phones
  • appliances that are 'smart' because they put screens in them and tripled the price

i'm starting to look for a new tv, so hopefully this year there will be some models with variable refresh rate that aren't 55+ inches that will actually fit on my shelf

the vending machine actually makes the dough and cooks the pizza, the miniaturized assembly line does not

most pizza parlors would need to be 3x or 4x larger to accommodate that thing with attachments for all of the toppings

also an experienced human would have had that pizza prepped and in the oven before that conveyor belt thing even finished applying the sauce

You can see the scale they use to weigh how much cheese to put on the pizza just to the left. They use a pound and a half of cheese on the cheese pizza.

i would imagine that any large chain pizza place does the same since they tend to be very specific when it comes to cost and consistency

this is some bullshit automation. those dispensers don’t even pour sauce or toppings as they retract. just a waste of time.

bidirectional sauce printing costs extra

no word on battery life

for those who want the gaming laptop experience in a handheld

who thinks that a handheld that weighs almost a kilo in 2020 is a good idea?

even a sega game gear, reigning king of bulky handhelds, only weighed a bit more than half of that with batteries
