Next, I eagerly present to you all; my good buddy's DMC DeLorean, converted to electric, cleverly named the AC DMC He did all of conversion himself because he is one of those brain geniuses. WIred/soldered up his own inverter as well. It has a motor from a Nissian Leaf, Leaf battery cells as well. It used to be "The worlds fastest delorean" but unfortunately, the last owner let the thing deteriate to poo poo. I ended up slapping some normal 16" focus rims on it so I can get good tires at 1/3rd the price of the stock summers, and that's only eroded my willpower further knowing that slow racecar driving isn't really a financial hit. I miss that Integra though. I had big plans, getting an awd crv driveline into them is a lot of work, but it's not *crazy* work. Awd turbo coupe that weighs 2500lbs with a frankly wonderful chassis? Hell yeah. This is a chill place. I like y'all. |

Its 6 volt positive ground and the transmission isnt synchronized so I had to learn to double clutch and float gears. Its a 1956 International S130, a thirteen letter poo poo spreader

Many a cigarette was smoked in this car, yes. This picture is deceiving. The body was probably 40% bondo at this point in time. I got it in 94 as my first car, and had to get rid of it in 98, when my mechanic told me that the motor mounts were rusted and it wasn't safe to drive any more. I didn't have the kind of money I'd need to rebuilt it and keep it up. I literally cried when the guy I sold it to for parts came to get it. |

We took the car down to SEMA in Vegas and he made those bars so people dont get in the car and such. It worked wonders. As far as the display; I didnt help with that one...yet. I'm actually about to start on it for him; he finished up unifying all the outputs to a single custom protocol; then I'll swoop in and interface with it all. Oh yeah and that dash, everythign is wired correctly; the fuel gauge is basically how much juice left the pack has, the RPMS are now phase amps. pretty sweet! Sigh, yeah, unfortunately im subjected to a LOT of brodozers because some friends love their giant killdozer trucks. Even if it means they have to dedicate half their paycheck to keeping it up. At SEMA (those pictures) there was an ENTIRE huge section dedicated to those things. Yessssssssssssss ---------------- |

I want to make a camper out of something to wander the country whenever I want someday and I love to see different ways of doing it. Right now if I could do whatever I wanted Id get a VW Westy and TDI swap and bulletproof it for wandering, one of those 80s one ton Toyota campers is a close second but Id swap a Dodge 3.9/5 speed into it since the yota V6 is pretty sucky I was so lucky that my 56 was all original so I could keep it exactly how it was. One of my friends keeps bugging me to switch it to 12 volt but that will never happen. the charm in it is how its just like it always was. It really sucks to drive so I dont drive it much, it only goes about 45mph since it has 6.16 gears and regular people get really mad and drive dangerously around me and it ruins the fun I also have another car. I found this pickup on the property that I live on now when I was 14 years old and I wanted it so bad but my great uncle was a hoarder and never would sell anything. Same reason the 56 is still around so when he passed away I started fixing up all the stuff. I pulled it out of the greenhouse that it sat in since like 1982 and got it running. It was a 283 with a 3 on the tree. I blew the original engine shortly after that doing burnouts in the garage which happened to be a blessing cause I found another 283 that was already hot rodded for $150. I traded a lawn mower plow for a 4 barrel and intake from a friends dads 67 Camaro and put it on the 283. Then a few years later my friend (12 volt guy) gave me a T5 for putting the new flathead he had into his 48 F1 so I swapped out the 3 speed. I put a Hurst shift on with an old 4 speed knob I had so it just looks like a stock 4 speed now and I can go on long trips and stuff with overdrive. Its also way more fun than the 3 on the tree. I call her Bernice   It cost me like $100 to lower it with shorter coil springs. For those that dont know most of these trucks have trailing arm rear suspension like a nascar. It rides really nice for an old truck. Ive seen a few things on that AC DMC, that thing is kicking rad EV swaps ruuuuule! Tesla motor swaps into pretty much anything are becoming more common but one of my brother's mates has one that scares the living poo poo outta me. Like he usually does stuff like stuff a Leaf motor in a 2CV but he got a crashed Model S P100D and got those motors and controllers into a Mini Moke.  700hp and 900NM in one of those. While the traction control is off is hilarious as all it does is sit there and blow tyres off the rims. But to explain it fully, electric motors make traction control dead easy and even easier to dial in so you get 100% max traction with the right amount of wheel slip. So.... a light, basically a skateboard on wheels with a massive amount of power and perfect ability to put every scrap of it to the ground. Scary fast doesnt even do the drat thing justice - also it goes exactly where the steering wheel is point so if you dont have it straight you are going to hit a tree going very high speed in a very tiny amount of time. His daily driver is another Moke that he did a single axle Tesla transplant in. That thing goes pretty hard itself Guy is insane. He's built some stupid rear end cars over the years but that one just tops everything.

Just went back to take a closer look at everything since before I was working on a Ranger and fell asleep under it for a little while and I can't get over the AC DMC, man that thing is amazing. Making all the stock gauges work ticks all the boxes for a job done right, it's perfect Thanks for the Scirocco love I can't explain how much I love that car. It's the same as a MK1 VW Rabbit so it's insanely fun to drive and it's wicked small. Someone else said you don't drive a Scirocco, you wear a Scirocco and it's so true. When I run over a dime I can tell if it's heads or tails up Oh yeah the Olds is a 1980 Regency 98, it still has the Oldsmobile "rocket" 350, it was the last year before they started putting Chevys in them. Car list (well present anyway as AI well knows I had at one point 12 Subarus at once) 1981 Series II RX-7. Now with 13B mild port and some suspension mods. I originally bought it ...... 1990. 2000 MY00 Clubsport EVO 4 WRX, gonna restore that. Got aforged internals motor so it goes all right but at present broken centre diff 1996 GF8 WRX wagon - reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long term project. I'll post some poo poo on this 1997 GF6 WRX wagon - got wrecked, bought it likethat. Gonna be the donor to get the MY96 wagon going 2006 MY06 WRX - Bought new. Bury me in this one. STOCK which is rare AF for a WRX 1999 MY99 Forester NA - my drive it anywhere DD. 2016 MY16 Subaru Levorg. When I wanna step out in style. My bro got a MY00 WRX off me and turned it a AWD BRZ. That poo poo is mental, we aint said half the crap out loud what has been done to that.
