They see america as the punchline to a long running joke. I looked through the threads that they have running right now, featuring titles like "Dems worried about demands to grow spines". It's like if the front page of The Onion grew 2000 heads and all the heads had internet access. Look at their thread on books they are reading - marx, zizek, hunter s thompson - these are the people they look up to. Taking them seriously is only going to make them stronger.
