the rapid revolutions of the washing machine slow down time, much like how superman can reverse it by flying around the planet really fast

Washing machine designer man had but one weakness: he never anticipated anyone being bored enough to time a wash cycle.

I have this problem. My dryer says “60 minutes left” and then 10 minutes later it says something like “30 minutes left” I’ve tried to explain math to it but I don’t think it’s listening.

FluffieDuckie posted:I have this problem. My dryer says “60 minutes left” and then 10 minutes later it says something like “30 minutes left” It's going by the moisture in the air drawn from the drum. if the clothes were well spun or dryer than expected then it will show a lower time after a few minutes. However, my washer is weird in that a 60 minute load will extend itself by double... I don't understand the mechanism by which it does that. |
