This time round the Dems seem to have concluded the reason Clinton lost is because she just wasn't centrist enough.

But yeah, if he somehow did get the nomination he'd be campaigning in the face of not just Fox News, but an all-out assault by every media outlet similar to what Corbyn faced.

Sorry, Bernie is going to win.

TBH, reading about the Swamp Germans is much better than the politics in the UK, a depressing hellhole somehow managing to be even more racist and bad than usual.

On top of that, with Scottish independence polling at the highest point since the indyref in 2014 the former leader of the SNP will be on trial for some sort of sexual assault charge which many members think could also bring down Nicola Sturgeon. And now on top of that the SNP Finance Minister, favourite to replace Sturgeon as leader if she goes this year, has been accused by The Sun of posting really horny DMs to a 16 year old. Despite being warned he was 16. Which leaves the next major SNP leadership candidate as Johanna Cherry, one of the most vocal TERF politicians in the entire rotten UK.

Also it will make the gammons super mad, maybe Mark Francois will finally blow the blood vessel that causes his face to go that colour.

In the US you'd go to Target or Walmart, or any larger grocery store, and be able to find some. But most of the stores in London seem much smaller. Would one need to go to a hardware store? If so, are there chains like Home Depot?

Bigger edge of town supermarkets like Tesco Extra or just a local hardware store in the neighbourhood.

Seriously, can you really imagine the Labour right wilfully giving up power once they've gotten it back? They only gave it away in the first place because they assumed the left of the party was already extinct and wanted to have a go at the union's power next. A mistake they won't make again for a couple more decades until the hubris takes over again.

Like if you're at Eton College teaching you'll be earning over £60k for starters (and according to their accounts for 2014 there were 2 earning at least 3 times that which I assume is the Head & Deputy Head. There's 20 in the £90k-£99,999 bracket)

State teaching in the UK is a thankless job taking advantage of people's passion & decency: poorly compensated with miserable hours, a poo poo curriculum and at least half the people I know who have given up within a handful of years because it just wasn't worth it. Some rare good news as 318 Tory MPs cough & splutter into an early grave all thanks to one of the dumbest shites in the country, Nadine Dorries. A trained nurse who as an MP has advocated for bullshit "teach girls abstinence" attitudes straight from the US's religious right. Also at one point she decided to get really mad at unemployed disabled people who tweeted a lot (this was 2009, before Twitter was revealed to be the hellsite we now all recognise it as) and in 2013 she declared that the Tories supporting gay marriage would cost the party 4 million votes at the next election. its why the PLP et al are breathing a sigh of relief now Kier is here to say nothing. they really can't handle the idea of the labour party calling out tory murder considering they go to work and are friends with tory MPs.
