if you season the batter properly, and fry it well, then you do not need to mask its taste and its texture with cold tomato

who in the fast food world can french a fry that needs no sauce?

malt vinegar = no

mayonaisse = aioli is acceptable

the best, however, is a perfectly seasoned crispy fry that's fluffy inside and doesn't need any adulteration

Blah blah blah blah!!
Curry ketchup is usually good. But I prefer my fries untouched by condiments.

Unless it’s the double double spread from in n out.

Crispy fries best fries.

I like them with ketchup okay but mustard is better imo.

When I was a kid and got McNuggets, I would dip the fries in whatever sauce I'd gotten with McNuggets, which was usually there barbecue sauce.

firmly in the anti-ketchup crew

even base tier yellow mustard is the superior condiment choice

Chicken salt and malt vinegar.

Or gravy. Hard to go wrong with chips and gravy.

What's chicken salt

Nova69

what you do is is have both ketchup and mayo (some spicy variety is preferred) available for dipping, and then dip your chips into both for the perfect sauce combination

don't forget to season your chips with chip spice and black pepper

The best fry topping is a thick gravy, anything else is subpar imo.

Being crispy is a must, of course.

I'll bring my fast food home then make a fries dip with 1 clove mashed garlic, some mayo, a big pinch of curry powder and a squeeze of lemon juice. It's real good please copy and share.
