The create their own version of Robocop, named Robotic Copotic to get around copyright issues. Robotic Copotic ends up going haywire after he's struck by lightning, the rest of Police Academy has to track him down. At the end you find out the lightning gave him a soul and he just wants to be a dancer. Police Academy lets him go and the sound effects guy starts making robot noises to fool the chief into thinking they brought the robot back as planned. The end of the movie is the chief going "Well, where's that robotic police officer we've all been talking about?" and then Bobcat comes out wearing a bunch of tinfoil and everybody laughs.
