Problem description: Windows is telling me that WiFi is turned off, and when I troubleshoot it, the diagnostic page says "Use the switch on the front or side of the computer to enable wireless capability", but I swear to god, no such switch exists on the case, nor on the keyboard. I haven't been good with computers since like Windows 2000, so my apologies if this is an easy fix that I should have figured out, or I fumble through being helped. Attempted fixes: Going into Network Settings and switching WiFi to "on", results in a little "Busy" circling icon for awhile, and then it stops and it *appears* as though WiFi has been turned back on, but the second I close Network Settings and bring it back up, it has reverted to "Off". Recent changes: The day this started, my girlfriend had been working near my computer, and stated that she may have moved the tower around and that she may have piled stuff on top of the keyboard. Otherwise, no changes, no new software. Plugging in a cat5 cable gets me internet no problem. All I can think is that despite there not being any clear "Wifi On/Off" key, that perhaps there's a key combo that did the trick when she had stuff sitting on the keyboard? Otherwise, I'm blaming her for no reason, and this is just weird timing. -- Operating system: Windows 10 home, version 1803, 64-bit System specs: Acer Aspire GX-785-UR1B. Keyboard, in case it matters, is a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 1000, model 1356. Location: United States I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes. Google has yielded mostly responses pertaining to laptops, since they, you know, actually have wifi on/off keys. And then a couple of those microsoft.com threads where the person posts the problem they had, and then "Fixed it. Thanks everyone" with no explanation of what was wrong.

I'd upgrade to the latest version of W10. Someone was having similar issues a few weeks ago and updating fixed it.
