  Gal and Dinosaur is an upcoming anime directed by Jun Aoki of Pop Team Epic fame about a gal and a dinosaur living together. It's quite cute. It will also be accompanied by a live-action adaptation written by Kotaro Sudo. When I heard this was getting a show I was pretty shocked, especially when I heard it was also getting a live action adaptation. A pretty relaxing read with some fun art in any case!

I sincerely hope they never ever try to explain the dinosaur's existence in modern Japan. No alternate world stuff, no time shenanigans, there's just a dinosaur and that's all there is to it.

Everyone just rolls with it, as if a dinosaur suddenly moving in is something that occasionally happens. Not impossible, just unusual.

Live action half lines up with what I'd expect from the Pop Team Epic gang. Wouldn't be surprised if they got an AC-Bu segment at some point. Edit: Just realized they got the French artist from the Pop Team Epic shorts to do the second stop motion bit, that's great

Just off a glance of names I recognize, Uchu People did the music videos for PTE and did the ending for this as well, and Thibault Tresca, the French animator who did the segments that were complaining about France, is also doing stuff for this.
