Space Yeti.
My brother recently passed away and I gained his old G3 (the old blue type).

I know nothing about Mac's in general, but this does have some files that I would really hate to lose (he used to write music and store all the lyrics on the old Mac).

I use a PC, is there any way to get the files off the iMac?

Could I connect it to my network and upload to my Nas?

Totally lost on this one, any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you may be able to get it to connect through NAS.

Depending on how large the files are you could also just use a flash drive. I've never tried using a really large USB flash drive on a machine from that era. It may have some issue.

Another option would be to take the HD out of the G3 and connect it to your computer using one of these:

Although I remember opening G3-era stuff wasn't the funnest thing either.
