You can grab it mid-fight! It starts a quicktime event that requires more undisturbed time to complete than all the surrounding enemies will give you. I was a little confused until I realized I was supposed to ignore the top priority until I'd fought all the dudes.

Great LP. Went on longer than I expected because I didn't anticipate all the multiplayer videos—thank you for those.

Looking forward to Shenmue 3 whenever that finally, inevitably, happens.
