West Virginia prohibits all elective surgery, including abortions, attorney general says
From CNN’s Joe Youorski
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice’s order Tuesday prohibiting elective surgeries state-wide includes abortions, according to West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.

“Yes, it also applies to abortion facilities as well, but it’s a broad-based prohibition,” Morrissey said in a news conference with the governor.
Morrissey added that the state is doing this in order to conserve supplies, protective equipment and access to ventilators.

I genuinely don't know where I'm going to live next year at this point. I still had some savings that wasn't going to student loans that I was in the middle of looking for a new home with while job searching, but  that's on hold indefinitely now, meanwhile my loans are still being paid and I don't know if/when they're getting suspended. If this goes till October/November I won't have enough to leave; if this goes till next March/April I won't have anything

Cuomo said he's working on finding more ventilators, but he has "no desire to acquire more ventilators than we need

"If a person comes in and needs a ventilator and you don't have one, the person dies. That's the blunt equation here," he said
