Most of the countries just send bland ballads or pop ballads that sound the same, but one or two songs are actually good and have interesting stage performances. Though I wouldn't call the best of this year "good", borderline mediocre. One of those rare good songs. Nothing this year reached that height.

I think I love the idea of Eurovision more than the actual event. Every year I see the thread and I'm like gently caress ya gonna watch Eurovision, but then I just watch all the classics that get linked on the first page and forget about it until next year.
