Caught up with the thread. The changes so far have been interesting, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they do with the Akechi confidant.

It makes sense, honestly. AI generated art looks really loving cool and involved, and... also tends to be underwhelmingly recieved because once you get past how cool it looks, you realize that there's nothing meaningful there. Yusuke's painting LOOKS cool and is competently made, but to the vast majority of people, it's a monochrome swirly thing with some red orbs.

So, is fusion just kind of a "try and see" affair? Or do you always have the list of personas you can obtain available and be able to check that to see what you need to make certain things?

I always thought that the Persona series was extremely cool but Fusion always seemed too daunting and complex for me to really get into it. I'm too old for poo poo this complicated nowadays, and have too little patience to look up a guide.

I appreciate the over-engineering of your routing because I don't have a very good memory and I have largely forgotten the contents of the original so I am happy that we will be seeing the largest amount of content.

Also the punchline was in fact worth the build-up, don't worry.

something that always bugged me about the narrative is how everyone automatically assumed and then accepted that the phantom thieves were behind the murder when there's no evidence linking them to it except when the murder occurred. it could have been caused by any number of things - poisoning because a fellow executive didn't want the confession to go out, another group taking advantage of the opportunity that the press conference presented, so on and so forth. i could understand if there was a public debate about the cause and the phantom murder theory being the most popular (especially if akechi pushed that narrative in an interview), but it seems sloppy that literally everyone jumped to the same conclusion all at once.

I mean, it kinda makes sense. I went to college with a fairly popular pornstar and I asked her if she ever worried about getting recognized, and she replied that her face isn't what people pay attention to.

That outfit presents a lot of things to look at that aren't Kawakami's face.
