my friend is helping me with graphics and i'm getting a 3rd version done eventually. this is the 2nd revision. 3rd won't have place holders and actual content or maybe it'll happen on the 2nd. not sure. the first version was very basic and didn't have fancy stuff relied on a lot of .txt files. https://sillyfanboy.neocities.org/

You might not be able to plaster your site in “under construction” gifs but you can still plaster it in ascii art like an old gamefaqs guide. There's also free open source forums software, I'd probably go with phpBB. Googling "phpBB tutorial" is going to get you there. Once everything is set up you can admin it through a browser, no need to be a Linux command line expert or to know how a relational database works.
