 The weird(er) one is dead. For those of you not familiar this guy was part of an act forcing tigers to jump through hops in Vegas. He was famously mauled, or his partner, well one of them by a tiger during a promotional gone wrong. They have a small tiger preserve in one of the casinos in Vegas for folks to gawk at. Oh he also did magic, do some magic of your own with a photoshop.

I thought it was odd timing how 20/20 ran a 2-hour biographical and update piece about the duo and their life in the years since the mauling just a few weeks ago. Like, right out of nowhere and when it's still the regular TV season with the pre-shutdown material of the lineup yet to air. Now I'm going to presume some insider (or Siegfried himself) let out that he'd caught COVID-19 and ABC went with it because with his condition the writing was on the wall, but it would've been bad taste to wait until Roy died before giving the program its debut.

I just heard about this on the news. This is officially the first famous person I’ve heard of to die of COVID. Super sucks. I was holding out hope that he might come out of retirement and I could see Sigfried and Roy live one day. He did a lot of great work for animal welfare and protecting endangered species, too.
