Cucker Tarlson is a vile piece of poo poo, but it would be a mistake to think he was stupid. He won some writing awards back in the day and he’s clearly intelligent. His fascism is opportunistic rather than atavistic I think, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous. He’s definetly going to run for something at some point too.

Seriously, Tucker had a whole segment devoted to praising many of Warrens economic policy ideas before saying it was a shame that she thought racism and climate change were real and bad. He clearly understands the trade offs required to make right-populism viable long term. Goes after people like Bezos all the time too. The brand of fascism that he represents would be very hard for the left to combat.
