It seems a lot of the support networks in the US are at the state level. If anyone wants to compile links per state and/or international support groups feel free. I may attempt the task myself as time permits and if I am able depending on my status as a free person.

These guys do good work in the Pacific Islander/Asian community in California, especially those who have a hard time seeking help due to language barriers: https://www.my-sisters-house.org These guys are in Puerto Rico and were really busy during the earthquakes and hurricanes, which exacerbated incidents of abuse. No, that's not normal. No, that's not your fault. No, he/she will not change. No, you're not alone. No, you don't have to suffer this. Yes, there is help. I'm not sure if it's the same in other states, but dialing 311 in Texas can provide many resources for individuals in crisis situations (if there isn't an immediate need to call 911). Texas has some good resources for child and elder abuse that can be found here: https://www.dfps.state.tx.us/contact_us/report_abuse.asp Children and other vulnerable populations are often caught in the middle of domestic violence which can result in physical injuries due to attempted intervention. The cycle of intergenerational abuse and emotion abuse that goes hand in hand with domestic violence can also scar a child for life. It's times like these where everyone is stuck at home with abusers that there is a silent uptick in incidents.

For UK girlgoons, https://www.womensaid.org.uk/ is where we direct our customers, now that our shitbag gov shut down our very busy women's domestic abuse project, that had been helping S.Yorks abuse victims for 10+ years. Seriously, gently caress the Tories. gently caress em in the arse with rusty barbwire wrapped cricket bats. Womensaid has some great resources, including easy to follow guidance on how to cover your tracks when looking for help online.
