Like it's one thing showing you a bunch of rebates and what not that are available and itemized/summed even if you can't actually get all of them at the same time, but estimating gas savings is lol.

Edward IV posted:I thought many modern BEVs use somewhere around 400V. I think I've heard that even 800V cars like Hyundai's/Kia's eGMP cars operate at 400V but configure themselves to 800V for faster DC charging. Then again, that's not common knowledge or readily advertised and there surely are outliers and A-h is a useless metric without the corresponding voltage. Their pack voltages are not all the same even for the same vehicle between trims. According to some searching, the ev6 light has a pack voltage of 522.7 and the trims above are 697. Similarly, the ev9 light has a pack voltage of 632 and every other trim apparently is 550. The big thing is AAs are single cells, so the voltage is dictated by chemistry while pack voltage depends on how the cells are arranged

There are also a lot more ICE models to choose from where you could presumably buy the ones that don't cost 10k to replace the rear quarter panel or whatever. It's not like these rental companies don't also have the numbers for the rest of their fleet

Because then they start building a market and network for parts/service, and a couple years down the line they're building the suvs/cuvs in mexico? Like any new to market brand has to go through this at some point and having basically an entire market segment to yourself helps quite a lot.

But also out of curiosity because I don't work with embedded anything, has there really been anything in like the last 30-40 years that hasn't had 8-bit bytes? Like even when I was working with PICs, chars were 8bit and ints were like 10. *apparently it was just some memory mapped io that was this size Don't get me started on wchar_t though I hate them so much gwrtheyrn fucked around with this message at 23:04 on May 29, 2024 |
