Problem description: Today, I booted up my Macbook Pro (15 inch, 2019) to find that the icons on the touch bar appeared, but did not respond to touch. Given my track record with MBP, I fully assume it's yet another logic board failure and I'll have to go to the apple store to get it fixed for the fourth time. But, hey, somebody might just happen to know a trick, so.

Attempted fixes: Tried resetting NVRAM, resetting SMC, ran Apple diagnostics and nothing came up. Booted in safe mode. Tried resetting the TouchBarServer process in both Activity Monitor and Terminal. The only thing that's changed is now the icons on the bar doesn't even appear; it's all black. The keyboard system preferences tab doesn't show anything for it either.

Recent changes: None. (Though, is there a way to verify whether the NVRAM/SMC resets were successful? Apparently they got rid of the boot up chime so it's hard to know if I got the timing right on the keystrokes.)

If you hold the NVRAM reset keys down and it restarts multiple times, it was successful. But yeah, sounds hardware-y.
