I ended up getting the SNES looking one, but here's some real content: I found a google doc for the retroid that has a bunch of games and the suggested emulator/settings to use in order to get the best performance. I'm still waiting the 15-90 years it will take for mine to sent from China, so I have no idea what the accuracy of this information is. Should be fun once we all get them and realize we've been fleeced by some scam.

If anybody goes RK2020 here is the image I recommend flashing to it. Use WIN32 DiskImager, do not use Etcher. https://github.com/christianhaitian/rk2020/wiki/TheRA-2.4-NTFS-(Updated-8-9-2020) I paid the dumb $15 for DHL on the Retroid. Side note and potentially exciting with the Retroid Pocket 2, if it gets a newer Android version, you could also use it for Xbox xCloud Game Pass Streaming.

Actually, it looks like the minimum Android OS for xCloud is Android OS 6, which is what this is running. I wonder if it'll work out of the box. I'm in the beta so I'll give it a shot when it comes in.

Oh, I have a bunch of these! My main one is the RG350M: Does basically everything up to the PSX, but no N64 support. Full metal casing which has a good weight to it and feels really nice in your hands, especially with the inset joysticks. There's a Rogue firmware out which is pretty great and I'm using a theme based off of SMT: Strange Journey. A little pricey, but great value and customization factors. According to reddit, there was official word that there’s a bit of slowdown at Retroid from covid and a flood of orders of the new colors but shipping should continue within a couple days. If anyone gets a ship notification with any of the new retro/indigo units

Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know which Mother 3 version to get because I’ve never played it but that thread seems to answer that. Here’s some announcements, in picture form! Get those pinch to zoomers out.  Another announcement made on Reddit is that they’re shipping out 600 boxes a day starting today. Bittersweet news is that they were bombarded with roughly 10,000 orders when the cool retro colors dropped.

I feel like at this point the only ones worth getting are the RG350M or the Retroid Pocket 2. The RG350M is the absolute best of the lot for ergonomics and build quality, but it's significantly weaker than most other releases this year (although it handles everything up through PSOne just fine, a couple problem games per system aside), while the Retroid Pocket 2 is significantly more powerful but doesn't QUITE match the RG350M for controls. There's also an RG351 on the way, but nobody knows when it's coming out and since it's based on the Odroid / RK2020 chipset, it's going to still be weaker than the Retroid Pocket 2. Personally I'm happy with my RG350M, it does all the systems I want it to do well and I'm a real stickler for how a device feels, but I don't feel like you could go wrong with either device at this point.

I have the 350 and it’s a fantastic device I just think at this point the 350M is a tad over priced. TBH you can’t go wrong with either though.

It also said they're open sourcing the Android 6 kernel, so depending on how portable that is (or if they open source the 8.1 version later), there may be community updates coming later. I know a lot of Android phones got updated way past what their manufacturers supported as long as their bootloaders were unlocked.
