I figured they went with a less insane cut after the theatrical release, but apparently we imagined it. There was another martial arts/action movie released near the same time that is getting peanut butter in your chocolate.

It's why I was happy about Trix going back to their original round shape, but it made them like Fruit Dots. That said, I can find absolutely no evidence that Fruit Dots ever existed and when I try to Google them, all I get for results are those weird gross gummy candies & various other candy. For years I swear I read an obituary for Henry Winkler. I know that I didn't, I had to be confusing him with someone else, but couldn't even guess to who, because I was like 11.
