In Eugene, Oregon there is a pizza place that makes perfectly fine pizza, however they cover them in cold, raw tomatoes unless you specifically ask them not to:

Most of the pizzas are "how can we put as much garbage as possible on top of incredibly bland cheese pizzas"

It's not as bad as the worst pizzas here but it's still awful

my dumbass magachud coworker was espousing the virtues of this local place's teriyaki chicken pizza

and whatever this is

Yeah, I noticed this too when I lived in Eugene. It was just really hard to find a regular pizza. Mostly just deconstructed progressive pizzas.

Though I did have a pumpkin pizza at one place, and it ended up being surprisingly good.

Margherita pizza is expensive in the US since the voyage to the far east to acquire basil is extremely perilous and Dutch spice traders refuse to share their shipping rutters.

Then they start telling you about chocolate oranges, Yorkie bars, and an endless list of chocolate confectionaries that every British fancy-lad seems to have an opinion about.

In Minnesota pizza is eaten with only a spoon. The crust is also made out of tater tots and the only available toppings are Velveeta and Jimmy Dean sausage (original flavor).

This is a finnish ready-made "pizza", also affectionately known as "a mud-flap", with what I believe to be hamburger dressing.

Somehow, I think associating this with the word "pizza" could yield some Italians mad about food material...

Come on Finland, at least spread the secret sauce around better.
