How do spiders make webs and what thaer their webbing made of? there is thid tiny pin-head sized spirder in my bathroom and god drat it just spools that poo poo out like a one man loom factory poo poo. how do they even have all that int here??

silk proteins and their production/extrusion are sincerely really loving cool. if we figured out how to produce them en masse rather than the tiny amounts spiders produce they would be the best known material for about a zillion different uses
