You may have heard that the Something Awful Forums have recently transferred ownership! You may also have recently (well, if you still consider June to be recent, which, in 2020, I'll grant you, it was basically yesterday) started an LP intending to crosspost it both here and elsewhere (such as, oh, say, our friends at the LP Beach) but chosen to hold off actually posting it on SA unless and until that ownership transfer had taken place. If so, your LP is probably a fair ways underway, and you might be wondering if it's kosher to bring it here in that case given our rules. I'm here to tell you that  this is fine by us, and we'll be selectively ignoring our usual thread dump rules (within reason) for anyone who's been holding off specifically because of the ownership transfer.As for how to handle opening a new thread with a larger-than-usual glut of back content... this is largely up to you! Post updates on an accelerated schedule? Dump everything at once upfront? Follow your hearts; this kind of occasion only comes around every 21 years apparently, so we're not too worried about complicating everything with policies.
