I think it's the thing that makes everything look like a soap. Has something to do with high frame rates.

I saw someone arguing that we should stop living in the past regarding frame rates, and embrace the new look. To which I say, films are meant to look cinematic. It's like arguing that theatrical lighting is heightened and stylised, and would be better if it was naturalistic. It wouldn't (unless that's the effect you're going for).

Motion smoothing can gently caress off.

It makes the background look like a still picture.

I've spent most of this year in pain from wisdom teeth and a cracked tooth on one side. Been waiting since mid February to hear back from the NHS emergency place, but the dentist I'm registered with cheerfully informed me they could do it the next day if I pay private because 'there's not much on at the moment.'

For every hard working front liner in the NHS, there's armies of workshy jobsworths who wouldn't lift a finger unless spire paid them to do it. The reason the emergency care places are overloaded is because those pricks won't take on the extra work during a loving health crisis.

gently caress dentists, and gently caress whatever special status they get to be exempt from the nhs supposedly being free at the point of service.

So about half 7 then?

I think it's because it struck in the same year as Covid and people though that 5G was spreading it.

When the leccy took the casing off the switch the inside was totally melted and had been dripping molten plastic inside the wall. It was a loving miracle it didn't burn the house down.
