I mean, the guy was able to gently caress around and buy things like Neverland Ranch for cash just a couple of months ago and there's nothing indicating that his net worth has taken a sudden nose-dive.

He's not looking to offload his stake in the Pittsburgh Penguins either, and the NHL was just as hard-hit by Covid as all the other sports leagues.

Anyway the absolute funniest part of all this is how underwhelming Matuidi turned out to be for them in the end - whatever they were paying him under the table they were clearly robbed.

Speaking of Canada, the three Canadian teams will be making their home in the US for the start^* of the season. Montreal will be based in Miami, Toronto in Orlando (with some games being played in Tampa) while Vancouver will head to Utah, which I think we can all agree is better than having them play their "home" games in a rival's stadium.
