loving Willie Wonka Nikita just said on a live stream that there's been a secret stash on Shoreline, no one has found it yet, and the first person to find it gets something special.

Fun.. in Tarkov?

(Assuming they archive the stream as usual it was around the 30min mark according to the live timer at the bottom)

I don't watch him daily or anything but thats definitely not true. Also maybe learn to read sarcasm because he jokes around a lot.

There's "was that guy hacking?" then two seconds later he's laughing and joining a new raid and then there's "gently caress that hacking douche" while yelling and filling out a hacker report.

Bots now do not fire while changing position to prone

Well holy poo poo some actual improvements. I never understood how they fluctuated from "idiots who stand there while getting shot" "to long range shotgun snipers who can see you through a bush".

isn't getting to that point in the game supposed to be the fun part? whats the point of playing when you don't have to care about looting anything? why not just play a shooter without the extra tedium? or is the game supposed to only be fun for people like me in the first couple weeks after a wipe?

Welcome to Tarkov.

But seriously I like the shooting mechanics, the healing system, the looting, and all that but the other players ruin the fun for me too. It would be like a new person jumping into CS:GO. 90% of the player base knows what angles to sit and wait at and no amount of "keep playing, it'll get better!" will ever be true. I would suggest playing the single player tarkov mod, or jumping into a more fun shooter.

I find it's fun to watch when people are good at it. Lupo or Landmark do some amazing things that make the game look really fun. Then you realize those are the guys who zap you 30 seconds into a raid before you even know where you've spawned in at.

Pestily is good too but he can be such a whiny bitch when his chat points out things wrong with the game because he's sucking Nikita's sack.

On the gunporn front, I have a whole case of guns in game that I own in real life. It's a hell of a lot cheaper to shoot them virtually right now.

It's about as close as I could get it. SIG Romeo4 in game, I have a Romeo5. Surefire light on the side, just used a generic in game light. That's a 10" Troy rail on a 10.5" barrel and the game had a 10.25" barrel and a 9.5" DD rail. I thought about using an adar receiver for semi-auto super IRL accuracy but meh.

Like a milsim server with flea at 10/immediately and lots of high power gear to be found and a scavanger server with late flea and greatly reduced high power gear.
The player base would be big enough to support this I think, at least in the major regions.

Yeah that was my problem with the design choices they've made the last year or so. They should let the players have as many choices to play as they want as long as it doesn't hurt the player base at large. Found in raid system is a good example of that. They are slowly pigeon-holing everyone and at a certain point there will be about 50 people left who will be very excited they got the perfect game they wanted. I'll have gotten my moneys worth out of it by then so more power to them.

Some people don't know what they want though. They say people being decked out too early on is terrible for the game but also say they're gaming gods who can one-tap them with their ppsh and the players complaining should "get good" like them.
