A lot of the wave of survival or battle royale type games we've seen in the last few years owe their origins to DayZ with each taking different aspects from it. PUBG took the pvp aspects while ditching about everything else, tarkov is realistic pvp and survival, rust is base building, etc. There are a few tarkov style games but none with gunplay anywhere near as satisfying. Deadside is probably closest.

I don't know if it's optimal but if it's below half hp I'll ditch l4 for a fresh l3. Unless it's an armored rig and the corpse I'm looting has no rig, because that's too much effort.

Bear gets the summer camo pattern which is the exact same color as most of the grass in the game. Pairs nicely with the m2 rig to make you the ultimate bush wookie.

The mp5 and kedr are okay for leveling recoil control and murdering scavs. Use them to collect mp153s and then use those with buckshot.
