What's the latest and greatest in the realm of private servers? I previously had a blast playing private servers of WoW and MapleStory, since I was able to experience end-game content without selling my soul. Seems like in the 10 years since, there hasn't been any landmark new private server game services. Do you play private servers and which ones? Yeah! A lot of MMOs, especially Korean ones, are heavy in grinding. Private servers with 10x-2500x exp rates are much more fun for the average player who does not want to devote a lot of hours

Also I don't think private servers are illegal, but I could be wrong depending where you live. In the past, I spent a lot of time on high-exp-rate servers for maple story, WoW, ragnarok online, MU. Ten years later, it doesn't seem like there's many new games out there. Just new servers of old games. I guess I have a weird niche taste for MMO games that are balanced as if they were single player games.

You could even look in the private games subforum I guess. Or start playing something and make your own megathread about it in an attempt to get other goons to play. This type of post/thread is sort of frowned upon because its not really seen as interesting. You will just get sarcastic remarks thrown at you. Theres also a few goon discord channels (you can find those in the private games subforum as well) where people tend to socialise and might be playing something together. Normally I would also leave a sarcastic post in this thread, but you seem kinda nice.
