i used to know my icq number by heart but now i don't. i sat here for 20 mins trying to remember but i don't remember it. i cant find it deep in my mind. i went through my mind like the jurassic park unix scene or maybe the hackers garbage files and i cant find it. i dont remember it. i think as recently as a year ago i could rattle it off, but now it's gone. i don't know what it is.

im going to spend some time sitting in my meditation closet, in lotus position, trying to recall it.

do you know yours? no need to type it of course, just a simple y/n will suffice

i recently spoke with my old co-guildmaster of my UO guild. he's a cool guy. from GA, went to GA tech, which he pronounced phonetically. We hadn't spoke for a long time, no hard feelings or nothing, just time, you know. ONe of my best friends probably, in terms of totality of time hanging. Spent years on Roger Wilco and then Vent, of course. Anyways, he was an organizer for the protest at the Keystone pipeline. Ran a lot of good poo poo and chased a lot of capitalists off their lands. He spoke about how he learned his organizing powers through PKing and running our guild. He said *extremely southern affect* "yea man, used those UO skills to gather peeps man" and things of that nature. he is a very good man. He also introduced me to these very forums, telling me that there were sick torrents including "porno" to be found.

we also developed terrorist cells in that game. you see, in UO you'd typically have a guild house where you gathered, usually a castle, keep, tower, or blue roof if you were poor. but the problem here is that enemy guilds would camp your GH and gank you when you recalled in. this created a big problem,, one guy recalls in and dies, he calls on irc or vent that hes getting jacked and then people come in piecemeal and get ripped up. thats not good. you need to be able to stage an attack, or not engage at all. so what we did is make everyone copy our runebooks (you could mark any location in the game and instantly recall or gate to it) and put them in a disposable small house. if you died and peeps ended up camping your house, that land was abandoned. you would wait until they left, pack it up, and move. the marks in the runebooks were uniformly named, like "shame 1" "shame 2" "shame cutoff 1.5" etc. so we could stage attack from anywhere, with no threat of being camped. we had a colony on the island above, of course, (fire island,) but you were never to carry that rune, top secret. we would never be put on the back foot.

another note is we were a PK guild, merciless. at one point I was approached to run a protection racket on some vendor malls - pass. not interested in syndicate type work, only fragging. we called in overwhelming force against any opponent, honorable duels were not acceptable. people would talk poo poo, but in the end, me and the other co-gms were all multiple 1v1 tournament winners. there is a different between war and honor duels. dont forget it.

i once killed this guy on evil mage island in deceit i think. he had made a swastica on a backgammon board in his inventory. note here is that nobody can see that other than you, or anyone who opens the board. it was in his backback, so he made that so he could look at it on his own time. not for show or trolling, just for his own enjoyment. maybe? then again, i still have this pic 16 years later.

we had a meme of renaming peoples runes (typically their house of town) "gently caress BLUES" and gating them home. we had some decency. but seeing that on the floor in the dungeon meant we were hunting and you were about to die. this is i believe the very first one we made.

nope. i'm sure i had a cool bragger-rights early-digit #. i'm not even sure i remember my first AIM or IRC name. we're fuckingg old. just committing slow suicide via drugs and/or alcohol and eating doritos and mt dew to numb the pain of existence, the innocent body's rebellion destroying the very cruel master upstairs itself, felling one cerebral synapse at a time. just like the amazon rainforest

all those moments... lost like cum in the brain.

I can sympathize op, I used to be one of those guys who knew how to solve a Rubik’s cube really fast but when I was 19 I took some acid and tried to solve it and permanently deprogrammed the ability from my brain. I still can’t solve a Rubik’s cube to this day. I wouldn’t worry about it too much though this sort of thing happens to the best of us.

gem td was indeed extremely good. youtd came in a bit late but it was excellent

my staple was Enfo's Team Survival and Castle Fight for the most part. some footmang frenzy (but lol), hero siege/surivval and a bunch of other td maps

sad Enfo's gameplay never seemed to catch on anywhere else. it was extremely gfood and i would basically solo teams 1v4 as the drunk panda fire bear or mentalist until they nerfed them into the gorund
