My solo project Stuffo the Puzzle Bot is now released! :woop:

https://twitter.com/antti_tiihonen/status/1631310919824297986

It's a nice thinky puzzle game. People testing the game have liked it, maybe you will too?

For the sake of the general purpose of this thread, here's some other things I've worked on:
Legend of Grimrock 1-2. 50% of the levels of the first game, maybe 90%+ of the second. Some game design and graphics. Audio including background ambient tracks.
Noita. Helped Hempuli in creating monsters, spells, levels, graphics etc content for the game.
Alan Wake and its DLCs. Senior environment artist. Occasional semi-tech artist.
Control. Tech artist. Made procedural tools using Houdini for other artists and worked on some of the art pipeline stuff for destructible environment assets.
Very early on in my career I did graphics and levels for pre-smartphone era 3D mobile games, including devices like N-Gage, PDAs, Tapwave Zodiac and Gizmondo (yes, that one).
Minor yet notable: I made sounds for Porrasturvat.

POWERFUL FUNGAL LORD

I also found this thread from the dev thread where I am a chronic lurker. I made a game! ... a while ago! But it's pretty cool, I think (even if it's kind of janky in places). It's called Retrace and it's a pixel horror-puzzle game.

Hi Goon Made Games thread, I'm also a goon who made a game, and after working on it for 4+ years finally released two weeks ago!

Innchanted is a co-op game about running a magical, fantasy inn - set in Fantasy Australia. You and up to 3 friends co-ordinate serving magical potions, drinking them yourselves for powerful effects, cooking meals, fighting or feeding hangry monsters that come in, and taking care of the place Inn in the evenings. All to stop the evil Wizard - your Landlord.

If you like Overcooked but you still want to be friends at the end of playing it, are looking for something to play with your partner, or want to play solo with our intelligent AI companion, we've made this in mind for having a great co-op time.

Check it out!

I could show you around the sights.

Slice and Dice on the Play store (don't know if it's out on iOS yet) is a VERY good goon-made game. Seriously, don't look at this game if you don't want to get sucked in. It's Real Good.

Slice & Dice is just one of the best roguelites period. Here's the itch.io page so you can get either the desktop or Android version.

I'm still working to make WordTopics a better game.

Here's today's puzzle of the day:

I did a promotion on AppAdvice and got a few 1000 downloads.

Now I just write to have more interesting puzzles.

Hi there - it was suggested to me that I post my game jam entry here.

https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2023/rate/2282301

It was my first time using Ren'py, first time making a visual novel, and first time in a game jam but if there's enough interest I'd like to try to make a more elaborate game without a 30 day time limit. It's a very short play (had to really cut back on scope due to the time restraints) but I think it does the job and my limited pool of players have given me positive feedback.

For sure! I actually rereleased it just this Tuesday, and replaced the trailer with this newer one. Hid the older one cause it's just now out of date.

I'm working on "Brutal Bible Bloodbaths". In it your mission from God is to help kill everything that breathes in the cities of the promised land but make sure you don't hurt the fruit trees. See: Deuteronomy 20:16-20. You can chop things horizontally, vertically, or at an angle using your magic laser sword. There are also soldiers who can help you.

I made a game called The Last Craftsman. It was released into Early Access in April, but I wasn't super happy with the state it was in. Now I am though, because I released a gigantic update a few days ago that just about doubled the size of the game.

It's structured like your normal farm-sim affair, like Stardew or My Time at Portia. Then there's a unique crafting system where just about every single item in the game can be used to craft something else and it also has a collectible battle card game that is used to progress the story and unlock new stuff.

Oh also since the update is out, this is the lowest price it will ever be. I won't be doing another 50% off sale until after the full game is released and the price is increased.

Just picked this up on Steam to play on my Steam Deck. Looks neat! Quick minor piece of feedback: after going through the intro (at least, what I think is all of it), and after the Mayor leaves you in front of your house (and you regain control), quitting to title screen worked, but I figured there'd be an autosave there, or at least a prompt. Instead, I just got what I asked for (title screen, that is), but no save to load. If there's a manual save mechanic (which is fine), might be worth mentioning that somehow, maybe during the intro, or in some other way.
