A number of my acquaintances in the neoliberal Dem Machine all got on board (or in some cases, on boards) with (of) "Families for <City>" groups as the primaries were kicking off. They went real quiet when Bernie dropped out but are popping up now with their job descriptions being either "Social Justice Entrepreneur" or some variation thereof.

Anyway, it's pretty clearly an astroturfed thing from Dem special interest groups. In practice, my local chapter just wants to make sure that schools named for our current senator don't get renamed.

Anybody know anything about this? Any way I can dig up info? Transparent patronage is part of politics but it's good to have more info.
