late 80s/early 90s GM in the cars was more funny and awful than tragic as the 2000's, (RIP Pontiac) because they FINALLY after 50 loving years, decided to synergize, in a real and not-parts-binning-way on developing cars between divisions and none of their engineers could figure out how to do it because they still wanted their own fiefdoms lol
