I think the MJF storyline is just how he uses his words to upset his opponents so that he can take advantage of their anger. He has been doing things like that since the beginning and everyone has responded…except Darby, who did not buy into the rage bait. Now, the problem is that MJF has lost almost every feud he has been in using this tactic, but he is absolute flabbergasted expression and running away was something new. I liked that and it makes me wonder what does MJF do now.

God dammit, I hate the term “cancel culture” as well as “offended” or “woke”. This has nothing to do with “cancel culture” so don’t be a dumbass and connect it. A guy attempted to maim another person. I had kids tell me that “soda companies are getting rid of ‘diet soda’ because it offends young people”. When I explained that soda companies are changing the name from “diet soda” to “zero sugar”. I tried to explain that this is how capitalism works and that these companies think that term will sell better. Nope, it had to be because people were offended. I would think that calling someone out for physically assaulting someone could be looked upon as just the right thing to do but instead we get a “I hate cancel culture” line to preface it.

A friend of mine is non-binary and I find it easier to just use a proper name so I do not do any misgendering. 15+ years of friendship involving one specific pronoun is hard to break so I just use a proper name.

The thing is that, there have been people who have said and done things in their past and were able to apologize and showcase that they have grown from it (many times, these people call themselves out before others find out what they have done). The Shield had a “good” finale. The main character ends up “getting away with it” by admitting, under an immunity deal, every crime he committed. The FBI agent that was hiring him looked absolutely appalled by everything he did but he was smug the entire time. So they put him at a desk job and he does not get to live the crazy life anymore and it is killing him inside. And related to wrestling, another cop who got busted for everything (Walton Goggins) pulled a Benoit.
