the anti-racist facebook group i joined to see what was going on seems a lot more tame at least. there was some impenetrable admin drama several months ago but that's about it. plus some thread where someone came to talk about their kid experiencing racial abuse at school and a bunch of (as far as I could tell) white people telling them to go to the police, which seemed an odd choice for a group founded in the wake of BLM but as a fellow clueless white i didn't feel qualified to weigh in on that can of worms myself
