Problem description: My colleague built a new machine for a client and at their request used EaseUS to clone the HDD from their old one to the new machine's SSD. The machine boots and everything is seemingly fine, but it won't allow the driver for the onboard video to install. It just throws an error saying the driver is corrupt or unreadable, whether I download new drivers from Intel/the mobo manufacturer or use Windows Update. Also, when I try to shut the machine down two processes flash up with no details saying they're still running and it drops it back into Windows 10 without shutting down. Attempted fixes: Installing new drivers from manufacturer/Intel, killing off processes that might be stopping it. Recent changes: It's literally an entire new machine with a drive cloned from the old machine. -- Operating system: Win 10 64 System specs: Intel S1200 Core i3-10100 3.60GHz Quad Core CPU BX8070110100 Gigabyte S1200 MicroATX H410M H DDR4 Motherboard 8GB DDR4 (1x8G) Crucial 2400MHz RAM OEM Module PN CT8G4DFS824A 480GB Crucial BX500 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s SSD Drive PN CT480BX500SSD1 Thermaltake ATX Versa H24 Case Black USB 3.0 (No PSU) PN CA1C1-00M1NN 550 Watt Casecom Power Supply PN CC-550W-12CM LG 24x GH24NSD1 DL Super Multi SATA DVD Writer OEM Location: Australia I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

You could try doing a repair install/refresh of W10. But cloning an old drive onto a new machine is asking for trouble (unless the machines have very similar hardware). Even if you resolve these current issues it's possible other issues crop up in the coming weeks/months.
