Does Cornette actually specify to the artist exactly what he wants for the pic or does the artist just listen to the show and draw what they think would be funny?

Still one of the funniest videos ever, Cornette books the invasion and sets up a completely miserable fantasy booked PPV.

Cornette gets so loving frantic the more the non reaction hits him to this weird hotel room shoot video crew. You can feel the air being sucked out of the room as he shows how he's actually not a wrestling genius at all and a terrible mind for wrestling who just memorized a bunch of numbers to impress people. Dude's always been a total hack.

Nah, everyone else is just not smart enough to understand the genius of Undertaker vs Terry Funk because they were too busy thinking up matches no-one wanted to see like Undetaker vs Sting.

There was that feud that he and Kenny Bolin had years ago where they were saying all kinds of things about each other and when they finally had their "debate", I clearly remember Cornette saying to Bolin "You're a Grizzly Smith!" after some talk about young girls. If he wasn't aware about it when it was going on, he definitely was about 10 years ago.

Wasn't his plan for FTR vs the Bucks to be FTR going against the script, completely no selling the Bucks and going into business for themselves. I'd assume that he must realise that in coming up with that he has become the man he hates most at this point, but I don't believe he's that aware.

However, I am sure he must have gone through the roof when Cash missed the springboard 450 at the end of what was a fantastic match.

This is the same Ricky Morton who was on AEW for Tag Team Appreciation Night and said that the Young Bucks were the greatest tag team on the planet. I don't feel like going back and searching for Cornette's comments on that but they probably weren't pleasant.

Cornette, Russo, Ray, Disco, and Madden are the big ones that always spring to mind when it comes to terrible opinions on wrestling that were actually involved in wrestling.

I'd put Brad Shepard in that group too but he seems to have had no actual involvement in wrestling and it's more fun to watch him desperately claim he's anyone relevant while no-one listens to his podcast and dunks on him on Twitter.

Why is she a foot though

I think MJF called her that on commentary during the FTR vs rear end Boys match. It's still a miserable image though.

Also, I just remembered that his idea for the original Bucks vs FTR match was for FTR to actually shoot on the Bucks and hold them down and pin them for real and he really has become what he despises most. You either die a respected figure in wrestling or you live long enough to become Vince Russo, although in Cornette's case the respected figure bit passed a long time ago.

I know the guy has been probated for a day, but for future reference when people call Jim Cornette out of touch, racist, xenophobic, transphobic, Islamaphobic, most other kinds of phobic, a cuckold, and various other things it's not because they're bullying him but because he is literally those things and is spewing hateful bile about everything other than the 2% of things in life that he actually likes. He is absolutely getting these responses because of his own actions.

Listened to this all the way through and I have to say when Corny’s brand of white hot hate is targeted at an appropriate target, it’s fantastic. Everything he said about the petty rear end coward exec was true and then some. He then basically told his internet followers to hunt down information on who it is, so maybe IDK you shoulda let the good wrasslin company run a tribute show to a dead colleague with two kids in the hospital, who was evidently beloved by both his community and the gayest wrestler who ever lived.

I personally wouldn't call sending his hate mob out to doxx someone regardless of how much of an rear end in a top hat decision they took "fantastic".

He wasn't angry about someone "not being sad enough", he was talking about the TV executive who told Tony Khan he couldn't do a memorial show for Jay Briscoe on Wednesday.

I thought this was the right place to post that video, something that made me enjoy remembering Jay - but obviously not. I'm not really in the mood to argue, loving whatever.

You should realise that the majority of people here including myself aren't fond of the man for many reasons and this is why he is quarantined to his own thread. The issue most of us are having isn't to do with him being upset that WBD didn't allow them to do a tribute show, but instead that he feels it's acceptable or appropriate to send a mob after someone because of it and it just paints him further as a hateful person that is hard to sympathise with.

I'm not angrily demanding anyone stop watching AEW, I'm not seriously saying Jericho donating to Trump will make me stop watching it either. But I'd sure have appreciated it if on the subject of Jay Briscoe I was left the gently caress alone and not hounded by hypocrites who apply one rule to others and none to themselves. If anyone else wants to dunk on that go ahead but please answer my question:
You complained earlier about people having weird hangups about Cornette that started all this. It wasn't the weird hangups that started this debate, it was the fact that he was telling his listeners to dig up information on someone (which to start with is a red flag), a person who they have no reliable way of determining exactly who made the decision he objected to, and expose this person (and probably others who are completely unrelated to any of this) to whatever unpleasantness all while trying to honour the memory of someone.

I'm not a fan of Meltzer. I think he's stubborn and often refuses to admit when he says things that are wrong or dumb. However I agree with all the things he said regarding Jay Briscoe in his tribute and he also called into question the WBD decision to not allow a tribute show while allowing Dana White to have his slapfighting nonsense and say some stupid stuff on the show, all while not encouraging a group of mostly likely unhinged people to doxx someone.

In short "I'm sad this person has passed, you should all go out and attack this person who was unrelated to his death but wouldn't allow a tribute show to be run" isn't really a normal reaction even during times of grief unless you are a hate-filled individual, and that's even before we look into his other views. The man is a piece of poo poo and he couldn't even pay tribute to someone without making it hateful.
