You always root for the funny upset even when the underdog is problematic, because you're going to have forgotten who pulled off the upset within 12 hours anyway.

Oklahoma State is in the tournament on appeal of a postseason ban?

What happens if they win?

Nothing, I think. They serve their ban when the judgement is final. If they’re not committing additional offenses right now, I don’t think any of it gets vacated.

Ok, for true psycho material schools we only have Baylor, Abiline Christian and Oral Roberts left

Baylor and ACU are fairly liberal, at least if we’re comparing to Oral Roberts or Liberty or Bob Jones.

i do remember someone on EDSBS once talking about how a friend who lived in Abilene said that a lot of restaurants there will serve "ACU iced teas", which is beer poured into a red plastic water/tea glass

It’s Church of Christ affiliated, which is the one that traditionally doesn’t allow any musical instruments to be used in worship service. Not sure if that’s still their stance or not.

I’m hoping Houston can give Baylor a better game than that. If nothing else it’s a Texas grudge match and a Big 12 snub grudge match on top of being the semifinal

Does this mean if Houston loses they're not allowed to bitch about getting left out of the Big 12 anymore?

The way his elbows were at 90 degrees and his hands up reminded me of the fencing response when someone gets a concussion, and I wonder if he had some kind of neurological event.

Oh good, he's conscious and being stretchered off the floor.

Looking at the video I wouldn't be surprised if he sustained a concussion from the fall in addition to whatever caused him to fall.

Those Bliss teams really weren’t bad, although I think Drew only inherited one or two scholarship players since everyone was allowed to transfer out. Though in retrospect they underachieved, judging by Lucas and Roberts becoming all-Americans after they left.
