Just make a whole spin-off show based on the sound impression episodes please.

I mean, I dunno if Brennan needs another show to dominate.

I kinda slept on Game Changer and am working my way through now. The prize bin one was surprisingly both really funny and really sweet. And it kinda demonstrates the beauty of the premise of the series: This isn't a format that you could do as an ongoing game show, but as a one off it works great.

If you actually stopped to think about this statement, you'd realize the answer is "yes, he does."

(Also, Zac and Josh totally keep up with him, IMO.)

I was being a little snarky, but I'm not sure how many of the other regular cast members would be able to keep up with those 3. Sam even says he came up with that gimmick specifically because he knew it was them doing the show.

It is very good. This is all.

Just started it, but it's gonna need to go quite a ways to beat me laughing so hard I felt faint at the Jeopardy one and Brennan screaming "THE MURKTOPUS WAS PROBABLY LYING! WHY WON'T THIS REWARD MY INDIVIDUAL EFFORT?!?"

For me it was Brennan and the Prediction. Nicely played.

This was a decent episode and I'm drat glad they're back and in studio again, but it wasn't as good as "Lie Detector" or "Guess the Rule" which have been my favorites so far.

I will say the end had a moment with Brennan and Izzy that was very similar to the Lie Detector one in making you go "ohhh, that's why they're together".

I assume it's less a "good enough/deserve" comment and more of a "oh, okay, I can *really* now see how these two people click together as a couple" thing. :v:

Yes it was that. The Lie Detector one was Izzy yelling "And you SHOULDN'T!" when Brennan protested that he trusted her and this one was both of them yelling at Sam for trying to semantic them into losing points for clapping at the end.

This week's Game Changer was pretty middle of the road but the second bonus round was an all-timer just for Grant's reaction to the special guest.

Jess was definitely pretty good in the latest one, but yeah overall not as great as Sam Says. Beats out some of the snoozers from past seasons like the feed the mouth one or the assembly line.

I actually liked the mouth one, but yeah, the assembly line felt like it needed a couple more drafts and a bit more actual 'game' to work.

I think it might be funny to do one with Trapp on and just have it be Um Actually.

The multivitamin one was the best, to be honest, because the others he's aware of the reasons it's shameful or shocking. That one he's literally about to ask "Am I the rear end in a top hat?"

I feel like Sam decided at some point that no corporate masters to answer to meant gently caress it, he's just gonna have his favourite comedians do funny sounds and songs for him.... and maybe he'll post it on the internet at some point.

Agree, tho they're having enough fun with it I don't mind them breaking that format.

Favorite example of 'what the gently caress is this' is their Jeopardy game, which was so freaking brilliant.

Brennan half-jokingly still trying to figure out a way to win solo is the funniest poo poo. Sam just facepalming and staying in character as DM and having the NPC poo poo-talk him.

Not really. It was just "hot or cold" but with an audience sound machine. Sam had thought of some things he wanted them to do or items to interact with, and he used laughter/cheers to tell them hot, and boos to tell them cold. Then it was a bit of a memory game to see if they could remember what the previous people did. I'm thinking he just had items picked out, to see what they would do with it rather than an actual action for some of them. That way he could change it up if something was working better.

Sam usually posts a breakdown of the episodes to the dimension 20 instagram stories a while after the episode airs, so just keep an eye on that if you ever can't figure one out.

The prize, I think, does suggest he did have in mind what the ladies ultimately chose to do.

I'm convinced they're having Amy on so much because they made a trophy for when she laughs 100 times in a single Breaking News episode. Believe she hit high 90's in one episode. Rooting for her to hit the triple digits with each appearance.

I think they're just trying to have her on with new people so Sam and crew can be like "No, she's really THAT bad!"
