I use a chest freezer and collar instead of the tower. If that fits a corny, looks mostly good?

I use something like https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=38013 inside for each faucet because I have a toddler and cats.

Also, I use https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B007S3EEWM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_ZK4VKACJ7922QDVEYQ02?psc=1 for beverage line because dairy grade is much better than cheap vinyl imo, especially with water vs something with a lot of flavor.

I've been buying new kegs from homebrewing.org because $75 for new vs $60 and cleaning out nasty old root beer is worth it. You can also make soda and adjust the sugar amount as needed.

First try at an everclear cocktail did not work out well, watermelon was a bad choice.

Repeat edit: if you're going for variety with alcohol, making a Riesling wine kit and carbonating it works well too.

I've also been drinking a lot of Vimto recently. The UK's finest cordial drink. I can easily sit and drink 5 or 6 pints of it in an evening rather than having 2 or 3 beers. Makes me need to get up for a piss in the night but actually being decently hydrated feels drat good!

She's pretty happy about that.

Yeah so many supply chains are fuct. I managed to put my two pc’s together in late November but had to wait for everyone to be shot and a weekend to line up.

Good call on the prebuilt and nixing the laptops. We live in bizzaro world where prebuilts are the better value right now. Earlier this year sh/sc were referring to some Newegg prebuilts as shuckable video cards.

My advice would be to not worry about getting the 'best' or 'perfect' sponsor.

Just find someone that shares some poo poo you relate to and ask them to be your sponsor. You can always get a new sponsor whenever you want if they turn out to be crazy or wind up being racist or something that you don't like (it happens you never know just saying).

But yeah you need to get a sponsor as soon as possible.

PC. It used to be very very sluggish but Reincarnation is fine now. Initial level loading still takes a bit, but restarting the level due to raging takes seconds. Still quicker times than when you die in Fallen Order on PS4 which actually poo poo me enough to not play it ever again.

EDIT: OK So Reincarnation is the Kickstarter and then they for whatever reason did a remake of the original as Max Damage with all the enhancements that Reincarnation brought about. To give you an idea of how dumb this rental is, they got a Samsung French door front fridge with an ice maker but there’s no water line to the fridge. Also there’s an add-on water filter for the faucet in the extra units kitchen but it doesn’t fit the current faucet there

It's an easy install and then removal when you move out tho. It's way worth it if you drink lots of water, Brita sucks in that regard.

The single filters these days are really good, you don't have to have three giant filters and tanks under the sink anymore to have really good quality water on tap.

I just got this exact unit as well, and yeah I was really impressed with the build quality and it has made my tap water taste fantastic, so I drink a lot more of it.

But yeah if you don't already have a hole in your countertop in a rental you kind of can't install one. Otherwise it's cake, it comes with an all-metal T fitting that just goes in line on the sink supply. Fully reversible there.

:10bux: says they got the fridge at Lowe's or Home Depot as a scratch and dent, and it happened to be the cheapest scratch and dent fridge that somewhat matched the color of the rest of the appliances. They get marked down pretty drat hard for the smallest dings (they're often returns from the delivery/install companies scratching them).

Definitely man. And overlap is good - it gives breathing room to get everything out and do as much cleaning as possible. I had 2 weeks overlap when I moved to Austin, but then again, it was only a 3 1/2 hour drive. Went back up to do the final bit of cleaning, hand them the keys, tell them to go gently caress themselves (I wasn't able to even lock my patio door for 6 months, dishwasher caught on fire and they never did anything about it, etc), and still got every penny of my deposit back.

I have to find early meetings thanks to my work schedule once I go back, though they've put me on disability for a month. I was spending over $100 a week on alcohol - I'm taking a 33% cut in pay while I'm on disability, but it'll be offset considerably by not drinking.

Feels so weird being up during the day. I actually got a sunburn yesterday while biking, I haven't even had a tan in nearly 2 years. For that matter I haven't even been on the bike in nearly a year (Strava says June 29th - I didn't log yesterday's ride, but I'll log tomorrow's). Feels good to get out there again. And I even managed to find my insanely bright bike headlight (it claims 2400 lumens on high - don't know how true that is, but it runs on 18500 li-ion batteries, gets downright warm, and it hurts my eyes to turn on indoors), so I can get some night riding in once I replace the battery in the rear light.

I have an easy 12.6 ride planned tomorrow (not counting riding to/from), it's about 2 miles to the trailhead from home (so ~16-17 miles total), and there's plenty of dirt paths/mountain bike detours from the main trail for some fun. We'll see if my fatass can do it. I might cheat and throw the bike in what's left of Brokeback and drive to the trailhead :ssh: - just gotta make sure to keep a few gallons of water for the radiator)

Had no time for car projects when I have house projects. Those are wrapping up and with my other Grand Prix arriving next weekend I will have to see if I am going to save the new one that is more complete but would need everything I have done to the other redone or just take the interior stuff out of the one I just bought and strip it for parts. I am leaning towards moving all my brake, suspension etc... to the new one since it has a clean AZ title so I don’t have to move the NH title to AZ and argue with them about Salvage and Salvage Repaired brands mean.

I can't find one even half the size for what I'm paying now. Guess it's time to clean it out and get rid of a ton of poo poo (though TBF it's not even half full, stuff is just spread out). I hate using my garage for storage (aside from car-related stuff), but I may have to put some stuff in there. I MIGHT downsize to a 5x5 (have a 10x10 now) for stuff that really needs climate control. I know I was getting a steal on a 10x10 for $49/mo, but I'm used to gradual jumps in rent, not a three-fold increase.
